Palabras conocidas Habla comprendida Texto comprendido
100 ~50% ~45%
500 ~75% ~65%
1000 ~85% ~75%
2000 ~90% ~80%
4000 ~95% ~90%

Semanas 7–8: Repaso y uso activo

No te limites a leer: ponté a prueba.

Las palabras comunes tienen compañeras naturales: make a decision (no «do» a decision), take a photo (no «make» a photo), do homework (no «make» homework).

Incluyen palabras funcionales (the, is, in), verbos básicos (make, take, give, know), sustantivos comunes (time, people, way, day) y adjetivos esenciales (new, good, different, important).

Cuando estudies activamente, empieza por las palabras que encuentras con más frecuencia: verbos básicos (be, have, do, say, get, make, go, know, take, see), sustantivos comunes (time, year, people, way, day) y adjetivos de alta frecuencia (good, new, first, last, long, great, little, own, other, old).
