La oración «My friend works in a small café» usa cuatro tipos de vocabulario:

  • personas y cosas: friend, café;
  • acciones: works;
  • palabras descriptivas: small;
  • palabras gramaticales: my, in, a.

Personas, lugares y cosas esenciales

Palabras interrogativas y palabras gramaticales breves

what pregunta por una cosa o acción What do you need?
where pregunta por un lugar Where is the bus stop?
when pregunta por el tiempo When does the film start?
why pregunta por una razón Why are you late?

Palabra base Palabras relacionadas Ejemplo
work worker, workplace, working My sister is a worker at a hospital.
learn learner, learning Every learner needs regular review.
help helpful, helper The receptionist was very helpful.
teach teacher, teaching Our teacher explains new words slowly.
use useful, user This app is useful for beginners.

Una rutina diaria sencilla

Elige ocho palabras.
