“many problems”라고 쓰는 대신 “a proliferation of challenges”라고 씁니다. “people disagree”라고 말하는 대신 “opinion remains polarized”라고 표현합니다.
이 가이드에서는 다음 내용을 제공합니다.
- Band 7과 Band 8–9를 가르는 단어 및 연어 200개 이상
- IELTS 영역별 구성(Writing, Speaking, Reading)

Band 8–9

IELTS Academic Reading 지문은 Economist, New Scientist, National Geographic과 비슷한 문체로 쓰입니다.

IELTS Band 8
예를 들어 Band 7에서는 “the number went up a lot”이라고 할 수 있지만, Band 8에서는 “the figure surged by 47%”라고 합니다. 구체성, 연어의 정확성, 답변 전반에서 단어 선택을 다양하게 바꾸는 능력이 차이입니다.
어휘만 배우면 Band 9를 받을 수 있나요?
아니요. Band 9를 받으려면 네 가지 평가 기준, 즉 Fluency and Coherence, Lexical Resource, Grammatical Range and Accuracy, Speaking의 Pronunciation 전반에서 원어민에 가까운 수행 능력을 보여야 합니다.
