- データと変化を描写する: show a steady increase、reach a peak、remain stable。
- 論証を組み立てる: address an issue、draw a conclusion、play a role。
- 頻出テーマを話す: renewable energy、public transport、access to education。
- スピーキングを正確にする: express an opinion、gain experience、face a challenge。
IELTS Task 1:
Academic Task 1
|---|---|---|
| show a steady increase | 徐々に上がる動き | The figure showed a steady increase from 2010 to 2020. |
| experience a sharp decline | 速く明確な下落 | Car sales experienced a sharp decline in July. |
| reach a peak | 最高点に達する | The number of visitors reached a peak in August. |
| remain relatively stable | ほとんど変化しない | Household spending remained relatively stable throughout the period. |
| fluctuate considerably | 大きく上下する | Prices fluctuated considerably over the year. |
| account for a proportion of | 全体の一部を占める | Online sales accounted for a large proportion of revenue. |
| witness a change | 変化を経験する、示す | The town witnessed a gradual change in its population. |
| an upward/downward trend | 上昇・下降の全体的傾向 | The graph indicates a downward trend after 2018. |
数値は rise でき、グラフは show a rise でき、期間は witness a rise できます。
IELTS Task 2:
|---|---|---|
| address an issue | 問題に取り組む | Governments should address the issue of housing affordability. |
| pose a threat to | 脅威となる | Air pollution poses a threat to public health. |
| play a crucial role | 重要な役割を果たす | Parents play a crucial role in early education. |
| take measures to | 〜するための措置を取る | Cities must take measures to reduce traffic. |
| have an adverse impact on | 悪影響を与える | Long commutes can have an adverse impact on wellbeing. |

| provide access to | 〜へのアクセスを提供する | Schools should provide access to digital resources. |
| a viable solution | 実行可能な解決策 | Public transport is a viable solution for many commuters. |
|---|---|---|
| express an opinion | 意見を述べる | I would like to express my opinion on this issue. |
| make a point | 大切な点を述べる | The speaker made an important point about access. |

| have a positive impact | 良い影響を与える | Regular exercise can have a positive impact on mood. |
| a significant factor | 重要な要因 | Cost is a significant factor in this decision. |

impact だけでなく have an impact on を学びます。

address an issue や have a positive impact のようなテーマ・論証の組み合わせは、両方の試験で使えます。
